Job Title: Private School Regulation and Partnerships Officer

Reports To: SayPro Strategic Partnerships Royalty Director
Work Mode: Primarily Online via SayPro Website Platform (with optional in-person engagements at Neftalopolis)


Position Overview:

The Private School Regulation and Partnerships Officer plays a key role in supporting SayPro’s mission to enhance regulatory compliance, partnership alignment, and service delivery within South Africa’s private education sector. This officer will lead digital engagement, compliance monitoring, and partnership coordination with private schools, education authorities, and oversight bodies.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
    • Conduct virtual engagement sessions and compliance briefings with private school leaders using the SayPro Digital Conference Suite.
    • Serve as a liaison between SayPro and partner institutions to facilitate dialogue on regulations and partnership development.
  2. Compliance Data Management
    • Oversee the collection, verification, and upload of registration documents and compliance data into SayPro’s digital system.
    • Track updates, registrations, and school submissions via SayPro’s internal compliance dashboard.
  3. Research & Feedback Collection
    • Collect, analyze, and synthesize feedback from SayPro-partnered private schools regarding regulatory challenges, needs, and innovations.
    • Identify sector trends and emerging regulatory issues to inform policy recommendations.
  4. Documentation & Strategic Solutions
    • Record regulatory obstacles reported by schools and log potential solutions into the SayPro Strategic Recommendations Database.
    • Assist with the drafting of briefing notes, regulatory summaries, and partnership success stories.
  5. Action Plan Monitoring
    • Monitor progress on compliance action plans developed in collaboration with partner schools.
    • Ensure that updates, milestones, and follow-up activities are logged into SayPro’s Quarterly Monitoring Dashboard.
  6. Resource Development
    • Contribute to the development and review of regulatory toolkits, compliance guides, and training materials hosted on SayPro’s platform.
    • Work with the digital content and compliance teams to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with legal frameworks.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Policy, Law, or a related field (postgraduate qualification an advantage)
  • Experience in education sector partnerships, compliance, or regulatory frameworks
  • Strong digital literacy and familiarity with online data platforms and stakeholder tools
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and report-writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across digital and in-person settings
  • Knowledge of South African private education policies and regulatory landscape preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Location: Remote-first via SayPro Platform, with availability for in-person strategy sessions at Neftalopolis if needed
  • Schedule: Full-time (flexible hours may apply during stakeholder sessions or dashboard reporting periods)

Performance Metrics:

  • Number of successful virtual stakeholder engagements conducted
  • Compliance data accuracy and timely uploads
  • Number of documented solutions added to the Strategic Recommendations Database
  • Percentage of action plans monitored and closed within the reporting cycle
  • Feedback quality and satisfaction from partner schools
