Position Purpose:
The Strategic Infrastructure and Partnership Officer (SCSPR-20) is responsible for coordinating digital infrastructure planning and partnership development for SayPro’s Community Education Centres (CECs). This role ensures the alignment of all infrastructure-related projects with SayPro’s mission of delivering accessible, sustainable, and community-owned education spaces. The officer plays a key role in managing data systems, facilitating compliance, and supporting community engagement—all through SayPro’s digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Infrastructure Planning and Coordination
- Lead the digital planning, scheduling, and rollout of CEC building projects using SayPro’s project management tools.
- Monitor and track infrastructure development timelines in collaboration with architectural and construction partners.
- Coordinate the virtual allocation of tasks and oversee digital document submissions for each phase of construction.
2. Digital Site Assessments and Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct virtual walkthroughs and site condition assessments using SayPro’s digital mapping and conferencing tools.
- Host stakeholder consultation meetings with engineers, architects, local officials, and community leaders online.
- Document findings and feedback using the SayPro Compliance Evaluation Form.
3. Database and Partnership Management
- Maintain and update the SayPro Community Education Centres (CEC) Partnerships Database.
- Log all new Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), partnership agreements, and progress milestones.
- Archive partnership documentation for transparency, compliance audits, and historical reference.
4. Compliance Monitoring and Technical Evaluation
- Organize and facilitate technical and legal compliance evaluations via SayPro’s digital platforms.
- Ensure all projects comply with South African National Standards (SANS), environmental regulations, and local bylaws.
- Generate digital compliance reports and risk assessments for internal review and external submission.
5. Document Management and Reporting Support
- Assist SayPro teams in uploading architectural blueprints, site maps, and construction plans.
- Support the submission of community needs assessments, social impact studies, and progress updates.
- Provide oversight on the formatting, version control, and archival of all infrastructure-related reports.
6. Community Communication and Digital Leadership
- Lead regular online briefings and information sessions with project stakeholders.
- Facilitate Q&A forums with community members, youth leaders, and municipal partners.
- Provide live translation and community-sensitive facilitation where necessary to foster inclusive dialogue.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Public Administration, Community Development, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in infrastructure coordination or partnership management.
- Familiarity with South African construction standards and community engagement models is highly desirable.
Additional Notes:
This is a fully digital-first role designed for hybrid collaboration through the SayPro Website. Occasional travel to the Neftalopolis Hub or construction sites may be arranged when required for verification or workshops.
