Time Commitment: Part-time (Approx. 10–12 hours per week)
Role Summary
SayPro is seeking Regulatory Content Partners (RCPs) to support the strategic development of editorial content aligned with legal, compliance, and regulatory standards across sectors such as health, education, construction, and finance. RCPs will play a key role in enhancing the legal relevance and credibility of SayPro Magazine by engaging with regulatory bodies, reviewing content, and shaping partnership proposals that influence public discourse and inform communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Outreach & Collaboration
- Identify and initiate contact with relevant regulatory bodies (local, national, and international).
- Recommend potential strategic partnerships for editorial collaboration on SayPro Magazine features.
- Content Compliance Review
- Analyze existing SayPro publications for compliance and regulatory accuracy.
- Propose corrections, updates, or legal disclaimers in line with sectoral standards.
- Drafting Strategic Proposals
- Co-develop partnership proposals in collaboration with legal advisors, policy experts, and compliance officials.
- Ensure proposals reflect SayPro’s editorial integrity and community empowerment mission.
- Editorial Planning & Engagement
- Participate in online or hybrid editorial planning meetings.
- Provide subject-matter insight and assist in planning issues focused on compliance journalism.
- Policy and Trend Contributions
- Contribute to whitepapers, policy briefs, and regulatory insight reports under SayPro’s thought leadership initiatives.
- Offer research or commentary on national and global regulatory trends.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Submit weekly compliance progress reports via the SayPro website dashboard.
- Log engagement with regulatory entities and track editorial influence milestones.
- Upholding Media Ethics
- Ensure that all contributed or co-produced content adheres to ethical journalism principles.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and fact-checking standards in regulatory communication.
Qualifications & Skills (Preferred)
- Background in public policy, law, journalism, compliance, or related fields.
- Familiarity with South African or international regulatory environments.
- Strong communication, writing, and research skills.
- Ability to work independently with digital collaboration tools.
- A commitment to SayPro’s mission of civic education and media integrity.
