SayPro QCTO Conducts a Visit to SayPro-Govis Hilton for the Supply Chain Practitioner Qualification Accreditation

The South African Qualifications Authority’s Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) conducted a site visit to SayPro-Govis Hilton this week as part of the accreditation process for the Supply Chain Practitioner Qualification. This milestone marks a significant step forward in SayPro’s ongoing mission to empower youth, women, and persons with disabilities through access to quality vocational training and professional certification.

The QCTO delegation arrived at the SayPro-Govis Hilton Training Centre to conduct a thorough evaluation of the facilities, training resources, curriculum delivery systems, and staff qualifications. The visit focused on assessing the readiness of the institution to deliver the Occupational Certificate: Supply Chain Practitioner (NQF Level 5) in accordance with national quality standards.

SayPro, in collaboration with Govis Projects, has developed a comprehensive training program designed to equip learners with vital skills in supply chain management, procurement, logistics coordination, inventory control, and vendor relations. The partnership aims to produce job-ready graduates who can make meaningful contributions in both the public and private sectors.

Key Highlights of the Visit:

  • Infrastructure Evaluation: The QCTO representatives conducted a walkthrough of the training rooms, administrative offices, and learner support areas, noting that SayPro-Govis Hilton provides a conducive learning environment.
  • Curriculum Review: SayPro showcased its well-structured curriculum and learning materials aligned with the Occupational Qualification Framework, incorporating both theoretical knowledge and practical application.
  • Trainer Qualifications: QCTO assessed the credentials and experience of SayPro’s facilitators, who have demonstrated both academic qualifications and real-world expertise in supply chain operations.
  • Quality Assurance Systems: SayPro-Govis presented its learner assessment systems, moderation processes, and continuous improvement mechanisms to ensure the delivery of consistent and high-quality outcomes.

Puluko Graham Nkiwane, Chief Marketing Officer of SayPro, expressed pride in reaching this stage of the accreditation process. “This visit by QCTO reflects SayPro’s unwavering commitment to providing industry-relevant qualifications that open real economic opportunities for our communities,” he said. “Accreditation of the Supply Chain Practitioner Qualification will not only enhance our training portfolio but also respond to the growing need for skilled supply chain professionals in South Africa.”

The outcome of the QCTO evaluation will be communicated in the coming weeks. If successful, SayPro-Govis Hilton will be formally accredited to offer the qualification, empowering hundreds of young people in KwaZulu-Natal and beyond.

SayPro continues to play a pivotal role in national workforce development by offering accredited occupational qualifications that bridge the gap between education and employment.
