Role Purpose
The Populations Strategic Partnerships Coordinator – May Edition will play a pivotal role in curating, organizing, and optimizing content for the Populations Strategic Partnerships section of the SayPro Monthly Magazine – May Edition. This role focuses on driving inclusive knowledge generation through AI-powered tools (GPT), thematic content review, and strategic storytelling that highlights SayPro’s population-focused initiatives and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
1. GPT-Powered Content Development
- Create and submit 5 high-quality GPT prompts per week focused on specific population themes (e.g., youth, women, migrants, people with disabilities, elderly, indigenous, LGBTQIA+).
- Ensure each prompt yields 100 relevant topics reflecting critical issues, challenges, and solutions for the designated group.
2. Thematic Content Review & Organization
- Review GPT-extracted outputs and organize them into SayPro’s core population categories.
- Tag, filter, and format content to align with SayPro’s editorial structure and strategic communication goals.
3. Case Study Collection & Processing
- Manage incoming program, advocacy, and partnership case studies submitted through SayPro’s content submission system.
- Verify alignment with SayPro’s population focus areas and strategic partnerships goals.
- Provide light editing and structure content in readiness for magazine publication.
4. Editorial Compliance & Upload
- Ensure all reviewed and approved content complies with SayPro’s editorial standards.
- Upload final materials to the SayPro Magazine platform using the internal content management system (CMS).
5. Magazine Section Support
- Support the editorial team in shaping and assembling the “Populations Strategic Partnerships” section of the May Magazine.
- Provide topic highlights, recommended article layouts, and editorial summaries.
6. Metrics Tracking & Reporting
- Use SayPro’s website dashboard to monitor:
- Volume and quality of GPT-generated outputs
- Case study submission rates
- Content upload metrics
- Engagement insights
- Generate weekly performance reports with data visualizations and content trends.
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience with GPT or other AI-powered content tools
- Strong editorial and research skills
- Understanding of inclusive development themes (e.g., gender, youth, disability, migration)
- Excellent organizational and project management ability
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Notion, Airtable)
- Ability to work independently with virtual teams
Desirable
- Experience in magazine publishing, journalism, or development communications
- Exposure to population studies, public policy, or strategic partnerships
- Knowledge of SayPro’s mission, platforms, and programming areas
Key Deliverables
- 20 GPT prompts per month (100 topics each, reviewed and categorized)
- At least 15 curated and uploaded case studies
- Fully structured draft of the Populations Strategic Partnerships section
- 4 weekly performance reports
