Introduction
The May edition of SayPro Monthly Magazine, coded SCSPR-31, is dedicated to documenting, showcasing, and analysing SayPro’s active and emerging Strategic Partnerships specifically aligned with Population Development and Empowerment. Under the vision and leadership of the SayPro Strategic Partnerships Royalty, the Strategic Partnerships Office has continued to strengthen and expand SayPro’s influence and reach, focusing on initiatives that uplift, empower, and develop populations across diverse regions.
This edition highlights key alliances, cooperative frameworks, and thematic programs launched or advanced in the past month. The magazine also outlines upcoming partnership opportunities, aiming to mobilise stakeholders toward inclusive, sustainable development.
Purpose of This Edition
To document and present SayPro’s ongoing and new strategic partnerships that are directly impacting population growth, youth empowerment, gender equity, community resilience, and socio-economic transformation. The magazine also aims to celebrate milestones achieved and foster dialogue among stakeholders.

Key Partnership Highlights – May 2025
1. SayPro + African Youth Coalition for Development (AYCD)
Focus: Youth Development, Skills Training, Civic Engagement
- Trained over 1,500 youth in civic leadership, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
- Established 6 new SayPro Youth Development Hubs across SADC countries.
- Joint webinars and forums on youth political participation and digital literacy.
2. SayPro + Global Population Institute (GPI)
Focus: Research, Data Mapping, Population Analytics
- Initiated the “People First Data Lab” to monitor demographic trends and social indicators.
- Co-published white paper: “Forecasting Urban Population Pressure in Africa by 2035”.
- Supported local governments with decision-making data tools.
3. SayPro + UN Women Africa Regional Chapter
Focus: Gender Equity, Women’s Empowerment, Policy Advocacy
- Delivered training for 400+ women leaders in policy-making and business.
- Co-launched the “Women in Power & Numbers” fellowship program.

4. SayPro + World Bank Youth Empowerment Fund (YEF)
