Position Title: Strategic Partnerships Officer (SCSPR-17 – TVET Infrastructure Development)

Department: SayPro Strategic Partnerships Office

Reporting To: Manager – TVET Colleges Strategic Partnerships

Location: SayPro Head Office / Hybrid

Position Overview

SayPro employees working under SCSPR-17 are tasked with supporting the development, documentation, and facilitation of strategic infrastructure partnerships across TVET colleges. They ensure timely information flow, partner engagement, and project alignment with SayPro’s strategic goals. A core part of their function involves the use of digital tools, particularly the SayPro Strategic Partnership Portal, to manage project data, communications, and reporting.


Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Engagement & Reporting

  • Log into the SayPro Strategic Partnership Portal daily via www.saypro.org to:
    • Update project milestones.
    • Upload partnership documents (MOUs, concept notes, site assessments).
    • Record stakeholder interactions and engagement statuses.
    • Track progress of infrastructure proposals and feasibility reports.

2. Partnership Identification & Support

  • Assist in identifying new strategic partners from the public, private, and donor sectors.
  • Research partnership opportunities aligned with SayPro’s TVET modernization goals.
  • Contribute to the development of concept notes, proposal decks, and donor submissions.

3. Fieldwork & Infrastructure Assessments

  • Participate in site visits to assess the condition and needs of targeted TVET campuses.
  • Compile data on building conditions, capacity gaps, and safety requirements.
  • Support technical consultants in gathering architectural and engineering inputs.

4. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with college principals, municipal officers, funders, and community representatives.
  • Schedule and document meetings, roundtables, and field consultations.
  • Ensure consistent communication with all stakeholders throughout SCSPR-17’s project lifecycle.

5. Data Entry, Analysis & Knowledge Management

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all activities related to SCSPR-17.
  • Contribute to the development of monthly reports and dashboards for internal and external review.
  • Use AI-powered tools (when trained) for thematic analysis and opportunity scanning.

Key Competencies & Skills

  • Strong digital literacy; comfort navigating web platforms and portals.
  • Basic knowledge of infrastructure planning, TVET systems, or education partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Team player with ability to work under limited supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Public Administration, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience in project coordination or partnership development (1–2 years preferred).
  • Prior involvement in TVET or infrastructure development projects is an advantage.

Performance Indicators

  • Accurate and timely updates to the SayPro Strategic Partnership Portal.
  • Number and quality of partner engagements documented.
  • Contribution to monthly SCSPR-17 reports and meetings.
  • Successful facilitation of site visits and stakeholder sessions.
