The Chief’s Endorsement Document serves as an official declaration of recognition and support for a property ownership transfer, issued by the traditional authority overseeing the land in question. This endorsement validates the transfer within the framework of customary law and ensures alignment with community leadership protocols.

It is a mandatory document for all Home Ownership Transfer (HOT) cases processed under SayPro’s Chiefs Strategic Partnerships program.

✅ What the Endorsement Confirms:

• The property or land falls within the jurisdiction of the endorsing Chief or traditional leader
• The applicant is known to the Traditional Council and has a valid claim to the property
• The transfer is approved and supported by the traditional leadership
• There are no known disputes or conflicting claims over the property
• The transfer complies with customary practices and local community rules

1. Applicant Information
   • Full name and ID number
   • Community and property location details
2. Transfer Details
   • Type of transfer (e.g., inheritance, allocation, sale)
   • Brief property description (landmark, plot size, boundaries)
3. Chief’s Declaration
   • Statement of support for the transfer
   • Confirmation of property status and absence of disputes
   • Endorsement of the transfer in accordance with customary law
4. Traditional Authority Details
   • Chief’s full name and title
   • Traditional Council or Tribal Office name
   • Community or jurisdiction name
5. Digital Signature
   • Electronically signed by the Chief via the SayPro HOT Portal
   • Timestamp and authentication code auto-generated by the system

🖥️ Digital Signature via SayPro Portal:

• Chiefs and authorized traditional leaders are registered on the SayPro HOT Portal
• Upon verification of the transfer details, the Chief may review and digitally sign the document
• The signed document is then automatically linked to the HOT case file
• The document is stored securely for SayPro legal and municipal reference

⚠️ Important Notes:

• Only registered Chiefs or their official delegates may sign the document
• Paper-based endorsements must be scanned and uploaded only if digital access is unavailable
• False or unauthorized endorsements will result in case rejection and investigation
• A Chief’s endorsement does not replace legal review, but is a key validation step for community-based transfers
