🎯 Position Summary
The Response Strategic Partnerships Officer plays a critical role in strengthening SayPro’s ability to respond rapidly and effectively to emerging community, institutional, and thematic partnership opportunities. The Officer will coordinate short-term and emergency collaborations, develop strategic content in alignment with SayPro Monthly Magazine, and work across teams to execute high-impact partnerships aligned with SayPro’s values and development goals.
This position requires a dynamic, detail-oriented professional who can act quickly, manage multiple stakeholders, and work both independently and collaboratively.
🛠 Key Duties and Responsibilities
🔹 Partnership Response Coordination
- Use the SayPro Website and Digital Systems to log, track, and manage real-time partnership response initiatives.
- Monitor incoming requests and thematic trends to identify strategic alignment opportunities.
- Facilitate fast-track onboarding of partners in line with SayPro’s internal protocols and branding.
🔹 Content and Communication Support
- Collaborate with SayPro content and editorial teams to co-author feature articles, case studies, and success stories related to strategic partnerships.
- Highlight partnership impact and best practices in SayPro Monthly Magazine and digital media platforms.
🔹 Partner Engagement and Activation
- Proactively source, engage, and secure new partners—including government, private sector, and civil society actors—especially those aligned with SayPro’s monthly themes (e.g., education, health, climate).
- Draft and manage MOUs, LOIs, and partnership frameworks, ensuring legal and ethical compliance.
🔹 Campaign and Emergency Response
- Support short-notice partnership campaigns, including those launched in response to social, economic, or environmental events.
- Coordinate closely with the Strategic Partnerships Royalty Office to prioritize rapid-response initiatives and measure impact.
🔹 Monitoring and Documentation
- Maintain real-time progress dashboards, response logs, and impact tracking tools.
- Prepare monthly reports on partnership outcomes, engagement metrics, and lessons learned for internal and external stakeholders.
✅ Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Public Administration, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in partnerships, donor engagement, emergency coordination, or program implementation.
- Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent writing, editing, and digital storytelling abilities.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, project management tools, and digital dashboards.
- Familiarity with public-private partnerships (PPPs) and international development frameworks is highly desirable.
- Multilingual ability (English required; French, Portuguese, or local languages an advantage).
🌍 Working Environment
- Remote-first position, requiring internet access and availability during core operational hours.
- Occasional onsite presence at SayPro’s Neftalopolis Hub may be requested for training, high-level meetings, or campaign coordination.
