Purpose of the Office

The SayPro Magazine Strategic Partnerships Office exists to drive business development, media collaboration, and economic empowerment through strategic partnerships anchored in content and knowledge exchange.

By leveraging the reach and influence of SayPro Magazine, the office cultivates value-driven relationships with businesses, entrepreneurs, government agencies, development partners, and innovation hubs across Africa and globally.


Core Responsibilities

1. Identify Strategic Sectors and Potential Partners

  • Research and analyze high-growth business sectors aligned with SayPro’s vision (e.g., agriculture, digital economy, green energy, creative industries).
  • Map and assess key institutions, enterprises, and influencers for partnership potential.
  • Maintain a strategic partnership pipeline database and update regularly.

2. Develop and Manage Partnerships

  • Initiate contact and build relationships with business leaders, investors, and policymakers.
  • Coordinate Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and partnership agreements.
  • Ensure co-branding, visibility, and value alignment between SayPro and its partners.

3. Co-Create and Publish Strategic Content

  • Collaborate with partners to co-develop thought leadership pieces, entrepreneur features, and innovation spotlights for SayPro Magazine.
  • Oversee the editorial and production process for co-branded content.
  • Align content strategy with SayPro’s business enablement and inclusion objectives.

4. Support Enterprise Development and Impact Initiatives

  • Link partners to SayPro business enablement tools (finance, mentorship, e-learning).
  • Facilitate the participation of featured entrepreneurs in SayPro programs, events, and forums.
  • Monitor and report on outcomes achieved through strategic media engagement.

5. Track and Report on Partnership Impact

  • Set quarterly partnership targets in collaboration with SayPro management.
  • Use SayPro’s integrated web-based analytics system to track engagement, reach, and business outcomes.
  • Contribute to the publication of SayPro Partnership Impact Reports.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong partnership development and stakeholder engagement experience
  • Excellent business research and strategic thinking skills
  • Proficiency in content development, media planning, or publishing
  • Familiarity with enterprise development, economic inclusion, or innovation ecosystems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Knowledge of monitoring & evaluation or impact reporting is a plus
