SayPro Job Function – Conducting Strategic Partnership Interviews

Function Overview

As part of the content development process for SayPro Monthly Magazine, personnel within the SayPro Magazine Strategic Partnerships Office are tasked with conducting interviews with both strategic partners and internal stakeholders. These interviews are essential for capturing authentic voices, gathering in-depth insights, and showcasing collaborative success stories that reinforce SayPro’s leadership in strategic partnership development.


Key Responsibilities

🎙️ 1. Planning and Preparation

  • Identify relevant internal and external interview subjects based on the editorial calendar and content strategy.
  • Prepare tailored interview briefs, including:
    • Interview objectives and talking points
    • Background research on the subject and partnership history
    • Consent and release forms for use of content in publications

📅 2. Scheduling and Coordination

  • Coordinate interview logistics including date, time, platform (Zoom, in-person, phone), and supporting documentation.
  • Work closely with SayPro’s communications and partner liaison teams to ensure smooth scheduling and participation.

🗣️ 3. Interview Execution

  • Conduct professional, engaging interviews that encourage storytelling and transparency.
  • Apply active listening and probing techniques to elicit insightful responses.
  • Ensure interviews reflect SayPro’s tone, values, and brand ethics.
  • Where applicable, record and transcribe interviews for content development.

✍️ 4. Content Development Support

  • Summarize and synthesize interview content for various editorial uses, including:
    • Feature articles
    • Partner profiles
    • Case studies
    • Quote highlights and infographics
  • Collaborate with SayPro editors and designers to ensure interview content is accurately and compellingly presented.

📤 5. Approval and Review

  • Share draft content with interviewees for fact-checking and quote approval.
  • Incorporate feedback to maintain accuracy and mutual satisfaction before publishing.

Interview Subjects Include:

  • External Partners: NGO leaders, corporate partners, government stakeholders, academic institutions, and collaborators featured in SayPro projects or initiatives.
  • Internal Stakeholders: SayPro program managers, outreach coordinators, regional leads, and executive leadership contributing to partnership strategy.
