SayPro Partners with Accenture to Provide Financial Management Training to 1,500 Individuals Across South Africa

Johannesburg, South Africa – May 9, 2025 — SayPro, a global leader in education, training, and community development, has entered into a transformative partnership with Accenture, one of the world’s leading professional services firms, to deliver high-impact Financial Management training to 1,500 individuals across South Africa.

This collaboration is part of a broader commitment by both organizations to address financial literacy gaps and foster economic resilience among South Africa’s youth, unemployed populations, and aspiring entrepreneurs. The training initiative is designed to build essential financial skills including personal budgeting, saving, credit management, investment basics, and small business financial planning.

The training will be delivered through a hybrid model, combining online modules with face-to-face workshops in key provinces. This structure ensures accessibility and flexibility for participants from diverse backgrounds and regions. The curriculum, jointly developed by SayPro’s training experts and Accenture’s financial consultants, is tailored to reflect the unique socio-economic challenges faced by South African communities while also preparing individuals to engage with formal financial systems and economic opportunities.

“This partnership represents a powerful step toward inclusive economic development,” said a SayPro spokesperson. “By equipping individuals with financial management skills, we’re not only improving personal financial outcomes, but also laying the groundwork for stronger, more informed communities.”

Accenture’s support of the initiative is part of its global “Skills to Succeed” program, which aims to prepare people around the world to secure meaningful employment and build sustainable livelihoods. In South Africa, Accenture has invested heavily in upskilling initiatives, contributing over R30 million to training and development efforts since 2015.

“We are proud to partner with SayPro on this mission,” said a representative from Accenture South Africa. “We believe in the power of skills development to change lives and strengthen communities. Financial literacy is fundamental not only to individual empowerment, but to economic growth and stability.”

Participants in the training program will receive certificates of completion, and those excelling may gain access to mentorship, job placement support, or further advanced training modules. Priority will be given to women, youth, and marginalized groups, aligning with national development goals and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).

SayPro and Accenture plan to expand the program in future phases, potentially reaching additional regions in Southern Africa and scaling the initiative to benefit thousands more.
