Johannesburg, South Africa – May 9, 2025 — SayPro, a leading provider of skills development and education solutions, has partnered with global consulting giant Accenture to deliver specialized Financial Management training to 1,500 individuals across Gauteng province. This initiative is designed to equip participants with essential financial literacy and practical money management skills, helping them build sustainable livelihoods and make informed financial decisions.

The partnership aligns with both organizations’ shared commitment to economic inclusion, youth empowerment, and capacity building in South Africa. The training program targets unemployed youth, small business owners, job seekers, and individuals from disadvantaged communities across key areas of Gauteng, including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Ekurhuleni, and surrounding municipalities.

About the Training Program

Participants in the program will receive practical, hands-on training in areas such as:

  • Personal budgeting and saving
  • Understanding credit and debt management
  • Financial planning and goal setting
  • Investment fundamentals
  • Small business financial practices

The training will be delivered through a blended model combining interactive online sessions and in-person workshops facilitated by qualified financial experts. Participants will benefit from SayPro’s certified training methodology and Accenture’s deep industry knowledge and experience in financial systems and digital learning.

A Catalyst for Economic Opportunity in Gauteng

“This initiative is about more than financial literacy — it’s about economic empowerment,” said a spokesperson from SayPro. “In Gauteng, where unemployment and inequality remain critical challenges, this training gives individuals the tools they need to take control of their financial futures and contribute meaningfully to their communities and the economy.”

Accenture’s support is part of its broader Skills to Succeed program, which has already helped millions of people worldwide gain the skills needed for employment or entrepreneurship. In South Africa, Accenture has consistently invested in training initiatives that support youth development and inclusive growth.

“We are proud to work with SayPro to bring meaningful, practical training to the people of Gauteng,” said an Accenture South Africa representative. “We believe that financial knowledge is foundational to personal and professional success.”

Impact and Future Plans

Upon completion of the program, participants will receive recognized certificates of achievement and access to further opportunities including advanced learning, mentorship, and possible referrals to employment networks.
