Objective

To professionalize and standardize the quality of interventions in informal settlements and backyard communities, SayPro will implement an Accreditation Framework for practitioners. The target for this quarter is to certify at least 10 professionals involved in planning, managing, or delivering upgrading projects.

The SayPro Accreditation Framework will include:

  2. Accreditation Pathways
    • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
    • Short-course based certification
    • Modular assessments based on core and elective units
  3. Assessment and Evaluation
    • Written knowledge assessment
    • Project-based assignments
    • Community engagement simulation or case study analysis
  4. Certification Levels
    • Level 1: Practitioner (field-level implementation)
    • Level 2: Project Manager (coordination and planning)
    • Future levels to be introduced based on scale and demand
